What has changed in your life — and does your financial plan still fit?
Financial planning isn’t something you do once. As life changes, your financial priorities, responsibilities and decisions can change with it.
The TWMC Annual Financial Planning Checklist is a practical educational guide designed to help you review the major areas of your financial life, identify what may have changed, and recognize the situations that may deserve a closer look.
Use the checklist as part of an annual review — or whenever a significant life transition occurs.
When Life Changes, Review the Plan
Every significant life event triggers a planning review.
Marriage, separation or divorce, the birth or adoption of a child, illness or disability, caregiving responsibilities, a job change, retirement, an inheritance, buying or selling a home, or a change in business ownership can all affect financial decisions.
You don’t necessarily need to wait for your annual review. A significant life transition is a good reason to revisit your plan and make sure it still reflects your circumstances and priorities.
